Travel Risk Professionals – a specialist division which primarily provides products and services to the Travel & Tourism sector in the UK & Ireland. This division serves direct retail clients and wholesale clients.

Tasker Technology Risks – a specialist division focusing on Technology & Life Sciences for UK domiciled multi-national businesses

Purpose of the Role

The role of Account Handler / Senior Account Handler is to work with the Account Executives of Tasker Technology (for serviced clients)  and on own account, with support from Account Executive, for non-serviced clients,  to deliver service and client retention results in accordance with business targets.  This is a service-based role and requires the delivery of excellent customer service within the commercial and regulatory systems set by the company. Applicants must have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail, together with a good level of insurance technical knowledge in all types of insurance contracts dealt with. In addition, the role requires certain support/administrative  functions for both Account Executives and sales department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather information (from Account Executive for serviced clients and directly from client for non-serviced clients) to assess the client’s insurance needs and risk profile.
  • Assist in the preparation of risk presentations for insurance underwriters and negotiate terms accordingly.
  • Assist in the preparation of renewal reports in accordance with agreed timescales.
  • Renew and instruct mid-term adjustments on existing policies.
  • Check insurer documentation and send to clients in accordance with company Service Level Agreement, always ensuring their accuracy.
  • Provide ongoing support and advice to clients as appropriate
  • Progress claims and keep the client updated
  • Keep up with changes in the insurance market, products and clients’ industries.
  • Manage own files in accordance with company procedures.
  • Build and maintain ongoing relationships with clients and underwriters.
  • Confine advice and information to those areas in which you are deemed competent, otherwise seeking advice as appropriate.
  • Maintain and develop income in accordance with personal targets.
  • Data input into the system, in line with the company procedures.
  • Adhering to Company strategy in relation to placement, fees and premium finance
  • Demonstrate confident and efficient telephone skills.
  • Ensure adherence to the company’s systems and procedures at all times.
  • Ensure adherence to the company’s compliance systems at all times.
  • Respond promptly to client queries and ensure that all communications with clients and/or insurers or other business contacts are accurately recorded (in writing).
  • Assist other areas of the business as and when required to do so

  • An excellent standard of computer literacy including the use of PCs, and Microsoft Office.
Remuneration Package

This will consist of:

 

  • Salary ranging from £20,000 to £ 30,000 dependent on experience
  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
  • Membership of the Group Death in Services plan *
  • Membership of the Group Income Protection plan *
  • Workplace Pension Scheme
  • 6 months probationary period
