Our marketing initiatives centre around a growing portfolio of products that are designed for specific industry sectors

Purpose of the Role

To provide qualified leads and book new business opportunities for the Sales team to help them achieve company sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide qualified leads and book appointments for the sales team, to generate new business.

 

  • To follow up marketing campaigns and events to generate new prospect leads by telephone, identifying and qualifying opportunities for new business.

 

  • To build effective relationships with potential clients and existing customers, by use of appropriate questioning, clarification and language.

 

  • To qualify opportunities for cross selling products to generate business.

 

  • To speak positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is provided at all times to customers and prospective customers.

 

  • To communicate courteously with all customers by telephone and email, building positive relationships, and progressing opportunities to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.
Skills & Knowledge
  • At least GCSE’s in English Language and Maths or equivalent.

 

  • Preferably six months relevant telemarketing experience including lead generation and responding to telephone queries.

 

  • A working knowledge of how to operate Word, Excel and E-mail. Use of in house CRM software (training will be provided).

 

  • Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal.

 

  • Excellent customer focus.

 

  • Good time management.

 

  • Clear telephone manner and clear listening skills.

 

  • Team player.

 

  • Flexible approach.

 

  • Demonstrates drive and positive approach to work and a determination and motivation to achieve targets.

 

  • Experience in the insurance industry would also be an advantage but is not essential.
Remuneration Package

£18,000 plus Commission
